Before Methodloft was official, two long-time friends found out they had a knack for creating viral videos. In 2007, their first attempt at ‘going viral’ proved successful, then they continued to consistently pump out viral hits, generating over 50 million views on their own YouTube channel and getting featured on multiple TV networks. As they honed their producing skills, doors opened to work with more media outlets, brands, and even an opportunity to produce their own television pilot.
With roots in Boston, working in commercial production and post-production, and a year in Los Angeles working for a new media start-up company, the duo had all of the ingredients to open their own doors. In January 2011, Methodloft was official- combining the professionalism learned on high-end commercial shoots with the improvisational and directing skills learned producing comedy. Experience in every aspect of the industry has allowed Methodloft to be a full service video production house with a small team. Today, they are able to offer affordable video production services as an alternative to costly shoots with large crews and slow productions. Their efficiency, quality, and creativity, make them a truly unique find in a flooded industry.
