Methodloft was founded in January of 2011 by two long-time friends. When they started working together, their first attempt at a viral video created buzz on the country’s top comedy sites and has been seen on MTV, VH1, and the BBC. Then they did it again, and again after that. In the mix, their content was seen on Comedy Central, G4, and consistently on sites like Cracked and Collegehumor.
With roots in Boston, working in commercial production and post-production, Methodloft has been taking shape over the course of several years. After a year in Los Angeles working for a new media start-up company, Methodloft had all of the ingredients to strike out on their own. They combined the professionalism learned on high-end commercial shoots with the improvisational and directing skills learned on web productions. Working in every aspect of the industry has allowed Methodloft to be a full service video production house with a small team. Today, they are able to offer affordable video production services as an alternative to costly shoots with large crews and slow productions. Their efficiency, quality, and creativity, are what sets them apart from competitors.
